School Uniform
It is the school’s policy that all children are required to wear uniform when attending school and when directed during out of school activities. It engenders a feeling of belonging and promotes a sense of pride. It is important that our uniform is smart and reflects the high standards of Turton and Edgworth CE Methodist Primary School.
Pre-Loved School Uniform
The purchase of quality lasting uniform and the pre-loved uniform system is part of our mission to reduce our impact on the planet. Every term, we will endeavour to operate our Pre-Loved School Uniform Shop. These events are well advertised and usually take place on Parents' Evenings. All items are free with any surplus (non-logo items) being distributed to other local schools in need of items. Parents are encouraged to pass uniform to other families or to donate good condition items to school for redistribution. In the event that we are unable to run a shop, items can still be requested from school by completing the 'Pre-loved Uniform Request Form' which can be downloaded from this page.
Infants
White polo (choice of logo/no logo) - Polo with logo available only from Whittakers or non logo from any retailer
Dark grey trousers (long/short)/skirt/pinafore) - available from any retailer
Logo jumper/cardigan - available only from Whittakers
Plain white or grey socks - available from any retailer
Purple and white gingham dress optional for summer term - available from any retailer
Juniors
White shirt - available from any retailer
Dark grey trousers (long/short)/skirt/pinafore - available from any retailer
Logo jumper/cardigan - available only from Whittakers
Tie - available only from Whittakers (traditional/clip)
Plain white or grey socks - available from any retailer

Shoes
Sturdy, plain, all-black smart shoes should be worn. In winter, plain, all-black, flat-soled ankle boots may be worn. Please do not purchase any shoes/boots with a heel.
P.E. Uniform - All children in all year groups
Purple T&E t-shirt and black shorts. Black T&E zip-up training top. T&E badged black joggers or plain black joggers with no design or image. Sturdy trainers (not fashion trainers).
All children in all year groups to have traditional pumps kept in school.
Children should come to school in their PE kit on the days they have PE. Sturdy trainers may be worn on the way into school but we kindly ask that they have a pair of black PE pumps which are left in school for the days when PE is inside.
