Youth Social Action
Intent
At Turton Edgworth, we encourage our children to be courageous advocates and to act if they see something wrong or something they can help with. We believe in charity, and our values: respect, forgiveness, love and especially thankfulness encourage our children to recognise how to be a valuable citizen. Our vision is for children to 'look up to God and to look in and reflect' but also 'to look out into the world'.

Impact
Promoting YSA helps our children to grow into rounded, resilient citizens who will take action to try and resolve injustice. Children will "look up to God, look in and reflect and look out into the world" in order to make a difference. Learning about YSA, and celebrating young people who drive this for themselves, is also impactful in enabling them to be successful in their future careers and/or endeavours.
