Spaces available in all year groups (limited)

Stay and play sessions for prospective new Reception (Starting September 2025 or 2026)

Thursday 19th December 2024 (9:30-10:15am or 10:45-11:30am)

Please come and join us in our Reception classroom for a fun, free "stay and play" session for children aged 3 or above. Even if you think you know which school you would like your little one to attend, why not come along and see our school and meet our Reception teacher and team for a chat and a play?

The sessions this year are on Thursday 19th December at 9:30am-10:15am or 10:45am-11:30am. If you would like to attend, please ring school on 01204 852932 to book a slot on either of the sessions!

Our school has no catchment area and we have recently just had an exceptional OFSTED inspection (March 2024). We have children who come to our school from lots of the surrounding areas and we would love to meet you and your child!

We hope to see you there!

Places available NOW

From Reception to Y6, Turton Edgworth still has a limited number of places available in each class.

We DO NOT operate a 'catchment area' and welcome children from all of our surrounding areas.

We have expansive outdoor spaces and offer an extremely high quality learning experiences for all children.

Exceptional OFSTED report - March 2024

Due to the way OFSTED inspections are structured, our official grade of 'good' could not be changed at our March inspection; however, as our school demonstrated we are operating at an 'OUTSTANDING' level, they wrote our report to highlight this:

Inspection dates 5 and 6 March 2024: Outcome

"There has been no change to this school’s overall judgement of good as a result of this ungraded (section 8) inspection. However, the evidence gathered suggests that the inspection grade might be outstanding if a graded (section 5) inspection were carried out now. The school’s next inspection will be a graded inspection."

Every day is an open day

We have an 'open-door' policy and parents/carers are welcomed to visit anytime to experience our vibrant learning environment first-hand. If possible, it is always best to visit during the school day to get a good feel for our school but we can arrange later visits if that suits. Please send us an email or give us a call anytime for an informal chat about our school or to arrange a tour with Mr Wheatley, our headteacher.
